Mexican Immigration Political Cartoon

This cartoon is very similar to the Irish immigrants coming to America. Nowadays we the people of the United States see the Mexican immigrants as threats to our jobs. Most of these immigrants are very uneducated so work for them would be hardworking, low paying jobs. People in America could use these jobs to increase their income. But as the cartoon states, companies want these cheap laborers. So while companies are wanting these workers (Help Wanted Sign), the citizens did not want these immigrant stealing their jobs (Keep Out Sign). “Stealing Jobs” is one of the biggest reasons why the Irish and the Mexicans are not wanted by Native(white) Americans.
